I love that Donna just seamlesly integrates having grown as a foster child into whatever radical queer co-parenting structure Diana and Julia have going on re: Vanessa. This is all, of course, ruined by Terry Long being there.

After introductions are made, the characters discuss how Vanessa (Julia's daughter) is hanging out with Cindy, Donna's foster sister. This is all less complicated than it sounds. Trust me. I clown on Taylor a lot for writing "terminally millennial" comics full of references people into wikis enjoy, but the climax of Titans: Beast World was very good in making a point about the way authorities twist the needs and desires of people to push bigoted agendas. This was a well earned moment!

Sometimes I look up short, self-contained comic arcs just to get my hands on a story about a character, or to see what was being done with the character during a specific era. This one was garbage.

One of my favorite Donna Troy character bits comes from the reveal of her being raised by the Titans of Myth, and how they gave her all the components used for the Troia costume. That and the fact that Jericho helped her design it!
