United healthcare had $6billion in income for the quarter. That’s 6 billion dollars that didn’t go to research,hospitals doctors or nurses. This is money that went to middlemen that add nothing to the healthcare system. Then we wonder why our healthcare outcomes are so bad?what could 6billion buy?

Oh God more crap about the canal.Yes China owns 2 ports. They do have influence because “ they bought it” just because we are ticked that there is a higher bidder that is capitalism. We could always buy the other ports and give them money to secure their support but then the rich don’t get tax cuts.

So Trump wants Panama now? This is how dictators work. Blame a population (immigrants,homeless,gays etc) for all your problems. Of course since that wasn’t the problem the next step is conquest. Well if we had a little bit of Panama. I’m surprised he didn’t ask for Poland like his hero wanted.

Tariffs are basically a consumption tax. We pay higher prices for goods as the government gets the excess. The rich love consumption taxes because they can afford them. Now eggs aren’t just expensive so corporations make more but also so the government can afford those tax cuts for the wealthy.

Universal healthcare is not an evil boogeyman. You will not have long waiting lists dying before you get care. What you will have is better health outcomes. Longer life expectancy and no medical bankruptcy. You also won’t stay in a crappy job just for the healthcare.We pay more for less quality care

I see some are anti Harris 2028 ideas but I for one was totally pumped for her pro joy and unity agenda. Plus if she keeps walz and Trump screws up like we think. Why not? Trump lost and came back to win why can’t Harris. She’s better then newsom who would obviously be the corporate alternative.

The left wins 2020 and the right complains for 4 years about how evil democrats/Biden is. The right win in 2024 and the 1st thing they say is, Why are all the liberals so upset? They need to get over it. It’s not the democrats/republicans it’s the democrats vs the hypocrites.

Medicare advantage is a scam. Any for profit plan cheaper then a non profit one does so by paying less to either doctors(hospitals) or covering less then the non profit does. Those that think otherwise will be in for a rude awakening if/when they get one of those (not covered) illnesses/procedures
