Yesterday, we had a workshop with our new sponsor PowerCo to develop a roadmap for the cooperation for the next 12 months. Besides a technical deep dive we had fruitful discussions on further events & formats for exchange. Thanks to all who joined us and made it a successful day.

💡 🔋 We are happy to announce that Universität Münster will fund us in a second funding phase with nearly 3 Mio. EUR, securing our adminsitration and PhD program until September 2030. With this commitment and funds by PowerCo and MKW, we will now be able to create the new BACCARA 2.0 program.

This Monday our BACCARA fellows visited the PowerCo site in Salzgitter/Germany. During the visit the students had a chance to see the construction of the new Giga Factory up close and get an insight in to the companies plans and ideas for the future. #battchat #batteries

This is Matthias Hartmann. He works in the group of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Zeier, Institute for Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry. During his PhD, he investigates the synthesis and evaluation of alternative ion conductors for the implementation in solid-state ion batteries.
