Tell that to the Afghans and Iraqis, or any other poor people targeted by the U.S. government. Soldiers get the order, they follow it, they're tortured until they become complaint robots. They are not your friend and would kill you if ordered, that's their programming.

They're little more than mindless drones. They could be ordered to kill Americans standing in front of them and they'd do it, just as the Nazis did.

It's just super telling that they have to try and bury this reality and attempt to cover up the contributions that black Americans have made to America. I'm very concerned that this is a prelude to kidnapping black Americans and... repeating that vile history.

I've never felt uncomfortable being educated about Americas history of slavery, I've had no desire to own people and I find the practice abhorrent; perhaps that's the difference? Reality is reality and it can't be changed via executive order.

I don't go around trying to hurt people, but I may inadvertently do so as a result of ignorance or privilege. I think that's true of all bigotry, not all of it is intentional. Understanding it and overcoming it takes constant work and internal reassessment.

I think that with bigotry of all types, we're all indoctrinated into it. So while I don't want to be racist, I think that I may be oblivious to the struggles faced by others' and I may be biased in ways that are racist.
