You and your people are the good guys, and anybody who looks or acts differently are the bad guys. Done. Next question. Surely these people are somehow responsible for their own sucky lives, right? Because, like Jesus said, winners matter.

It does not need to be all complicated. We’ve all seen enough superhero movies. We know the plot. We all need enemies, even if we have to make up the reasons. Yeah, the movie's fiction, but we get to boo & cheer. Subtlety & complication are too hard. The simple is worth it. Because simple matters.
