There used to be an attraction at Disney with Stitch - while the original premise didn't go over well (it was Stitch before being acclimated to Earth), he looked like Stitch. As if he just crawled out of the TV "Samara style" minus the terror.

We've all seen Grogu, even if you're not a Mandalorian fan, you've seen him. That looks like a real alien they plucked from space. There's a horse-like creature in Star Wars that looks like a real space horse. That's because they're practical! Why didn't Stitch get that same treatment?

I'm disappointed in a lot of the trailers for new and upcoming releases. I know these huge media conglomerates can do better...and they just choose not to😮‍💨

There's nothing wrong with a little editing and/or CGI, but I think some companies use CGI just cause they can and it doesn't even turn out good! (Multiverse of Madness🧐👀)

I've heard/seen more & more stories of people knocking/feigning needing help outside the door just to barge in and steal or worse. I probably sound paranoid, but let's just say there's lots of reasons to stay aware due to different happenings at the complex over the 6/7 years that we've been here.

I guess I'll be turning the porch light on for a while now just in case.
It wouldn't have been anyone regarding the apartment because they don't randomly show up let alone after 5pm. It just makes me nervous.

We weren't expecting anyone and haven't ordered anything to be delivered here in a long time besides groceries.The only few people that would ever show up unannounced have very specific knocks as well as I called to check if it was one of them and both were at home. We did not answer the door.

But, I decided to go ahead and make a Bluesky to keep up with the people that are leaving and moving over here. The worst thing that can happen on top of everything else is if we're further separated and lose our sense of community.
