these albums dont exist in a vacuum, you cant separate the art from the context it was born from, and depiction doesnt necessarily equal endorsement

i think you can only get to the « unfeminist » view of the cover if you ONLY look at the album cover and dont look any deeper into the album or her as an artist. even if you just listen to manchild its much clearer that she isnt saying « men are perfect and should subjugate women »
