Kids been super picky with his foods recently too so alt ideas are slim. But we can try local coffee shop bagel sandwich.

Meaning of unions, I've been good & haven't crossed the picket line of a big coffee chain. I'm going less than I use to but kid really likes going there for a treat. I did suggest getting milk tea instead but he didn't go to school today. But he likes their breakfast so need to come up with alt idea

My only problem has been that our local big box supermarket seems to have hiked up their prices and we have some gaps in our grocery needs. Can get some alternatives from other stores but one of the stores is one I should try to boycott to support their union.

Hopefully this fundraiser doesn't come back. They do one with a burger chain we like and a make your pizza place and we can make those work pretty easily. If this one comes back, I will suggest skipping it. I guess I have to be reminded every year or so why we don't order there.

MC liked it too so will add it into our regular rotation of meals. Nice to have a meal or two without meat. The dashi powder I have isn't vegan but I should order some. I could make it from scratch but its a lazy quick meal with no chopping.
