Day 6: The Superficial Parasternal Intercostal Plane Block targets anterior cutaneous branches, providing effective analgesia for sternotomy & breast surgery. Fun fact: It avoids pleural & vascular puncture, making it safer (though not without considerations)!

The Supraclavicular Block is a mainstay in N. America for its reliable, dense brachial plexus blockade. Fun fact: While preferences vary globally, it accounted for > 50% of upper extremity blocks in PRAN’s seminal 2018 study (Walker et al).

Day 3: The suprazygomatic block provides direct access to trigeminal nerve branches, making it ideal for facial analgesia—great for cleft lip, cleft palate, & perhaps even tonsillectomy!
