We saw a coyote in Legion Park, right before Kilian slipped on the ice 🥶. The coyote was unphased.
We also crossed the North Branch bridge at North Park U. #chicago
A coyote (visible on the right side of the North Shore Channel Trail) stared us down for a couple minutes this afternoon. On the bridge across the North Branch of the Chicago River where it flows through the campus of North Park Universität. Looking toward the south. Looking north from the same bridge.

If you enjoy riding on the narrow and cluttered (think branches, rocks, “carbage” and mud/muck) shoulder of a 4-lane highway with tractor-trailers flying past, then the Sam Vadalabene Bike “Trail” from Alton may be for you. We did not, so turned back at Elsah. #bikechi
