If he doesn’t hit 73 home runs and instead hits, say, 51 would he get the same hate? With neither home run record I wonder if he’s perceived differently. That outlier number makes it seem like steroids had a bigger influence than PEDs likely did.

It’s always “Terriers”

Shortest out of the park home run ever?

Thankfully, these cautious, thoughtful usage patterns have completely eliminated pitcher injuries.

Never seen one of those before.

What’s that Richie (Dick) Allen?

Shout out to the Wooden Shoe. Used to stay right down the road and stagger home. Love that place.

Weren’t there negative revisions made during the Biden administration or am I mistaken?

Hall of Fame talent & Hall of Famer. Where do we draw the line because of injuries. Nomar is similar to Tulo in that way. Both HOF talents who couldn’t stay on the field long enough to make it to Cooperstown. Mattingly is similar. Puckett was struck with a career ender & is in. Idk if that’s fair.

That Dick Allen plaque is legit.

Opposite of the Baker Bowl?

Appreciate the conversation. Enjoy your weekend.

I’m gonna pivot if you don’t mind. Hindsight being what it is do you think the Sox would’ve been better off if they’d sent some money to the Giants and tried to grab Bryce Eldridge? Any indication that was even an option?

His K rate in AAA since being sent down is also concerning. I’m hopeful but I think the contract he signed works in the Red Sox favor if they were to try to shop him. Even if my idea was wishful thinking.

That’s a good point. I like Duran but if I’m being realistic he seems like their best trade chip. I wish he was having a ‘24 season rather than what he’s done this year. I wonder where they can move him considering he’s a win now type of guy. Maybe a one:one deal with another borderline contender.

Crews is absolutely a better defensive player but Campbell was really good his 1st month in the majors & was the minor league POY last year. Crews hasn’t hit at all in the bigs. I’m a Sox fan so I’m looking at it through that lense/I’m biased which is why I asked. It would solve their 1B & SP holes.
July 26, 2025 at 6:34 PM
Lowe has no future with the Nats and Casas gives them more years of control, Campbell has just as much potential as Crews and I can’t really argue with the Duran-Gore aspect I guess.

I mean the original thought. Not adding in woods.

I don’t think it’s as insane an idea as it might appear at first glance.
