família é uma palavra que necessita laço, sensação de pertencimento e comunidade
eu também tenho uma ótima relação com a maior parte meus parentes, muitos deles fazem parte sim da minha família mas isso é privilégio de quem criou comunidade comigo e viceversa

quando converso sobre isso parece que existe tipo mais de uma iteração dessa ideia mas a maior parte das pessoas que eu conversei deseja ter seu próprio quarto/espaço
eu, por exemplo, gostaria de ter meu próprio quarto mas gosto da ideia de dormir junto na maior parte das vezes, quarto é + q a cama

muitas pessoas casam e tem seu próprio quarto, acho que é um desejo comum

nothing that's too much work to listen or to talk

1. you don't know what people might do with the information you gave them (physical safety), 2. You don't know yet if that person cares either for you or for the information you feel like sharing

this second one is where you start talking about Warhammer and I listen bc I either like you or that

that's how you begin to determine if one's trustworthy and how much you actually want to share with them
I'm not saying you should lie but you should edit the truth to the safest version of it until you sure you can get into it for both emotional and physical safety

and I think you also should have in mind that it's not good to give strangers all that acess to yourself without making acquaintance first
you also have to make sure they're not a threat

once you stablish middle ground, you can work up from there
that's why you can't start conversation about niche topics
that's how you built friendliness into friendship
You first make them care about you and then later they'll be open to know more about you and vice versa
