Just a woman struggling to find her way in the fucked up country.
Then right before they gave him the sedative the vet decided to try one more time and we got a steady stream! So he's back home with us and he narrowly escaped death. Thank you so much for hanging in there buddy, you go this!

If you suspect your cat has urinary crystals push for an X-ray to be sure. Or ask them to take other preventive measures. Do whatever you can to get your pet the help it needs. Because if you, the owner, think something is wrong, it probably is. I wish all of you and your pets the best. Be well.

For the past year, I had taken Nagi to the vet 3 times for this very concern as I had noticed the signs I had mentioned. Each time he wasn't blocked so I was eventually told that he probably just had a sensitive stomach. Remember to advocate for your animals just as you should do for yourself.

If you suspect your cat may be developing urinary crystals, get to the vet ASAP, catching it earlier is always better. And they can also prescribe you a food that helps prevent further crystal development. As a little PSA I have one more thing to say.

Also as a side note, the signs that your cat may be developing urinary crystals are, frequenting the litter box, producing little to no pee, frequently straining to urine, vomiting, a decrease in socalization, not eating or drinking, and being lethargic and/or unresponsive when it gets critical.

This can help prevent urinary crystals, save you thousands in vet bills and most importantly save your cat from having to go through this pain. And as a general rule of thumb for cats and dogs, putting as much liquid into their diet as possible is essential. I've had to learn this the hard way.

If he is reblocked tomorrow we will have to put him down, we have no other choice. Now the reason I'm writing this isn't for money, absolutely not. It is to beg you guys, if you have cats make sure they get enough hydration, meaning wet food since cats get most of their liquid from food.

What began with urinary crystals turned into urinary incontinence into possible reblocking. Saldy due to financial difficulties the appointment tomorrow will decide his fate. After over $2000 in vet bills we have reach our financial limit.

JFC... how can anyone think this is ok? I've had a dog accidentally fall out of a car window before, and they're not worried that it will happen in a TRUCK BED? It boggles my mind.
