In yet more devastating news, the VC has confirmed her plans to cut 80% of academic staff from Essex Pathways, our foundation year department. This would effectively close down all our existing foundation year programmes through the back door.

But it's not a done deal yet. Please share urgently.

Hello! This is an important one, so it won’t be the last time I post it. The Land Defenders on Hunters Mountain are gearing up for winter. They are resolute. But they need supplies, they are winterizing the cabins they built, there is food and firewood and gas for generators needed.

One reason or another I ended up dissecting a locust leg yesterday and learned that the thing locust knees do before jumping is called the ~ semi-lunar process ~ and that sounds either like a Philip K Dick novum or a progrock album, not sure which.
