Stockhausen, Montag aus Licht. Sylvia Costa Le Balcon magnificent staging was developed well since the scenes at Opera de Lille. Botschaft scene in Act III was no longer spoilt by chorus reading from music so basset horn flute duet lovely. Lighting better in a theatre, but sound superb in Paris.

Staggering performances by Tamara Stefanovich at the Barbican today, especially in the second Sonata of Pierre Boulez. A true successor to Maurizio Pollini and Elisabeth Klein for this piece. Pli Selon Pli made a delicious finish to the day with l BBCSO/ singers also great in the Cummings Setting.
