This time of year is bittersweet. It is my favorite time, but the lack of surviving family drains me. I’m enjoying reading my way through Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol again, but it’s just not the same without everyone around anymore. Just have to move on 🫤

I hate politics with a passion, & never talk about them. However, I am absolutely compunctious (ashamed isn’t strong enough) in my country right now. Even in my traditionally blue state, I’m miffed at how close the vote was. Please check on all of your LGBTQIA+ friends today.
