This beautiful bird pulled a ‘Maverick/Top Gun’ and buzzed right over my head while riding near Hygiene yesterday. I had to circle back. Watched for a few minutes as it sat with its dinner. We live in such a beautiful area!

Northern Lights as seen from my neighborhood last fall in Colorado. Less than 2 months prior, wildfire was burning here, about 1/4 mile from our house. It’s not my most stunning outdoor picture, but the contrast of these beautiful colors hovering over the damaged land really speaks to me.
