Found a Halloween craft book and loved this project. You cut angled strips into a roll of crepe (creeepy paper) paper, twist and it makes a great garland. Figured out I should wrap the finished part onto a paper towel roll to keep it from tearing and for storage.

@50501movement.bsky.social Baton Rouge REALLY showed up. Triple the crowds from any protest so far. Lots of costumes. I guess Landry didn’t think we’d show up, because there were only 2 cop cars after we marched and they looked bored. Lots of honking from passing cars. ✊

New Orleans never disappoints. Went to the Coffee Fest and one of the vendors was dressed like Steve Zissou. Went to a restaurant downtown and neighborhood had some cool paintings and statues.
