Mini sunflower…I let the seeds grow from under the bird feeder this year. This is the first one to bloom, excited to see what the rest produce. This mini sunflower is 5 feet tall. 🌱🌻

The Monkey King
A small Cotton-top Tamarin monkey sitting on a branch. He has a white mohawk hair style, with a distinctive white hair framing his face. Huge Bees nest in the forest. This wasp nest was well camouflaged all season till fall. I’m amazed on how narrow the branch was supporting this nest. A mere 2 feet from walking path along river.

King size afghan stitch blanket I made(1990)that we still use every winter. It took a year to complete crocheting then crossstitching the design.
