I love game devs. Sweet lot of humans that work to make our days better. I also feel so betrayed when they make me fall in love with a character then kill them. So like...I love you with all of my being, but fuck you.
Video game characters are not actually real. They don’t bleed, they can’t get their feelings hurt, they can’t be betrayed because they are a collection of pixels and code and words and sound files.
The game devs I’m lucky to work with are real people who deserve at least basic human respect.

Happy Monday! Going back to work after a couple days off is always rough, but it's doable. We've got this. Keep a couple things in mind. It's ok to give yourself some grace and find the beauty in the small things. Have the best possible day. You're loved and I'm proud of you.

I drive over a bridge every day for work and all through fall there will be a wall of fog that forms on the sunny mornings. It always looks so peaceful.

Tonight is my last night in Europe. As much as I enjoy my time here, I am excited to go home. I didn't get many pictures or do a great many things, but I did get to watch people exist and seeing how other cultures live is truly a treat. Until next time.
