The greatest sin of IGN is to dare take a more business focused approach to a thing that did not start like that (gaming fan sites). I might be wrong, but imo that's probably why IGN is surviving when others are dying, closing or getting sold. And how dare they survive like that in this landscape?

I think people just lash out on IGN because they don't vibe with it on a personal level. It's just shallow excuses for a larger sentiment imo.
