I also want to acknowledge that I put in a fuckload work to get my mental health from a state of wanting to die to a happy to be alive. I am living right now, and living feels good.

I've been through some trauma but as a cis/white/mostly straight/male, not as much as most. My life isn't perfect but I am really happy with it. I am extremely lucky and privileged for my support system and even the fucking state and country I was birthed.

It's been completely the opposite for me lol. I think the blue check marks everywhere make me feel like it's more commercial but finding community anywhere is a great thing. Especially without all those bigots you been dunking on haha.

The way I see it: Threads is for the brand, Bluesky is for the community... For me at least
