I have a new-to-me, very soft fleece blankie. It has pockets for my feet and it’s mirror printed on both sides. Jon Snow and Luci both approve, so this is how we are spending our Sunday afternoon.

Georgia College & State University is seeking a visionary leader to serve as Executive Director of Historic Museums. GCSU is located in Milledgeville, Georgia, just an hour and a half from Atlanta (90 miles). The historic town is located on the banks of Lake Sinclair and Lake Oconee with plenty of outdoor activities. This role offers you the unique chance to oversee nationally significant sites including Georgia’s ‘Old Governor’s Mansion’ and the Sallie Ellis Davis House, along with Andalusia where O’Connor raised her famed peacocks. GCSU is looking for candidates with an interest in historic preservation, public history, and academic collaboration. If you love storytelling and engaging with people around cultural experiences this could be a great role.

We have hawks in our yard often. They are amazing.

I once saw a Cooper’s hawk get so mad at a chipmunk that got away from it by diving into a burrow that the hawk perched right over the entrance and released a huge slice right into the tunnel. We now call them Pooper’s hawks.
