Tech companies will absolutely allow for creepy, invasive activity if they believe it will increase revenue. They'll do it every time and hope you don't notice. They also want to be seen as benevolent, which is why they get mad if you point out their products are creepy and blatantly invasive.

I don't buy anything from Starbucks, but this isn't a big deal. Nearly all public facing jobs have some type of dress code. Not only is this fine, but it isn't even newsworthy.

Not to say they don't have general opinions, but if they're not actually seeing it in their daily lives then it's not something they really think or care about on any deeper level.

To expand on this, I would bet most Americans have some vague sense that illegal immigrants are "bad", but have little desire to understand the issue beyond what they hear in their immediate information ecosystem.

My guess is rather than "coming around on" his immigration policies, it's more that people have become desensitized to it so it's less shocking, and if it doesn't affect their lives directly then they're just shrugging and going about their day.

So do something about it.

The current goal is to break everything and blame it on their enemies as cover for exploiting the suckers who put them into power. The next goal is to rig the game so they stay in power.

Exactly right. NFL players have ample means and opportunity. Absolutely no need to creep out the spa staff, unless you're an actual creep.
