almost universally in all of my experience over-time, scholars agree that language changes to fit the needs of the speaker, language does not dictate the needs of the speaker.

if how others refer to you isn't your own choice, and your stance is that these pronouns are "fake", then how are they any different at all? no pronoun request, traditional or untraditional, should matter to you, yet you dismiss nontraditional pronouns.

you are being inconsistent, you stated previously it was someone elses choice to address others how they wish, yet now you are criticizing others who request unconventional pronouns, if people have the right to use or reject any pronouns then why should these "nicknames" be dismissed

alright let me rephrase. its probably normal to misgender someone. does that make it ok? does that make it right? does it show basic kindness to how others wish to be treated and to be percieved: i don't particularly think so.

i wouldn't use it on you, never would, because you have outwardly expressed your disdain for it. which is fine. but to actively say that others shouldn't use it to refer to others when the others are okay with being refereed to as queer, is yet again policing other people.

my pronouns are very much my own choice. i identify with they them. that is not your prerogative. if you do not want to use they them to refer to me, then so be it, that is your own prerogative. i will dislike you for it, but its not my problem.
