I specialized in 2d-cut out rigging and 3d rigging in maya. But I'd often help with actual animating as well since the studios were tiny.

Everything but mocap. At the time when I was working professionially I was working at a couple of studios that handle extra work. So if big companies like disney were short on a deadline they would outsource an episode to these other studios.

I just need to brainstorm some ideas for them.

Would also be nice to come up with a design for a dragon, an orc, a minotaur, a mermaid and maybe make an actual furry character for once. Like a fox, cat or dog folk sort of thing.

I've also always enjoyed just telling stories too. Which is what lead me to working on Our Alchemical Romance. Maybe one day I'll make a spin off video game for my comic.
Who knows what the future holds?

It does make me think about how I always wanted to work in games but while I was doing animation no game company would hire me. So in recent years I started just learning to make games myself. Still very new to it though. There is joy there.

Very fortunate for my current position even if It doesn't spark joy. The coworkers and management are fantastic even if the hours can be crazy some weeks.
