Here's my settings for Lutris. Also, a 32 bit wine prefix is necessary to get it to work at full speed, otherwise it will lag with a 64 bit prefix. Lamento is quite old.

That's why it needs a 32 bit prefix. I heard some people got it to work at full speed using gamescope, but I had issues with it.
My Lutris settings for Lamento only. I recommend using a different prefix for each game to avoid issues. Gonna back all this up in my Linux handbook. And here's the next important half. What's missing at the bottom is just that I changed my locale to Japan, that's it and works fine without putting anything extra.

I can confirm Lamento works on Linux with a bit of tinkering, but it does work. Video also works. I installed the needed codecs here: www.vnwiki.xyz/linux/specia...

That was kinda a pain to get it to work, but I think it was worth it, and I'm learning more and more how games work.

I got Lamento working in Linux Mint, it wasn't easy, but works as smooth as when I played it on Windows 7 back in the day. I can't believe it's been that long. I felt nostalgic, but didn't want to use Windows just to play this game, even though I really love Lamento, my privacy is more important. That being said, here's a screenshot of me playing Lamento. I'm starting the game all over again. I'm excited to replay this game. It sucks it never got on Steam, but I'm grateful to the fans that translated this ten years ago. I got to be part of the beta test, good times. <3 Screenshot of my Linux Mint Zara desktop. I'll for sure share a proper screenshot of my desktop later. The background is a poster from the legend of dragoon, that's one of my favorite games. I love retro games. The golden age of gaming was great, like can't we go back to that? Man, I miss those days. Screenshot of the menu when going back and forth or when I need to save and such. I love the green forest theme. Green is actually one of my favorite colors. I think it looks nice and has age really well. The load section of Lamento. Works great! :^D

Earlier in May, I joined the dark eyes NSFW Casca unofficial fan zine. It's been a lot of hard work, but fun. Anyway, I love the layout that the team made here. I can tell they're working really hard, and I'm so glad to be a part of this zine. This is a page layout featuring Casca and Guts from Berserk. Here's a sneak peek of my Casca erotic pinup. I'm honestly shy drawing this stuff. I'm not much of a erotic artist, but this is good practice with anatomy. I wanted to draw something risqué of Gutsca, but I ran out of time, unfortunately. I do want to draw something to further promote this zine, so I think I can do that, at least. Again, I loved what they did with the layout here. The reds, orange, and splash of dark green blending into grays is a nice touch. The full drawing without the layout. Casca stands gracefully behind an open window with clouds and the sea. She's ready to get her man. ;^)

Old artwork of mine from 2016. I can't believe this art is nine years old now. I see I made this back in September so it's been awhile. I love his design, and I don't draw/paint him often but I want to redraw this someday, or paint it. A devil like character with neon green and dark black suit with a muddy green background and neon green energy around the character. This character's name is Froud and he is the devil of joy. He is completely blind and is insect based. I'm thinking of a prey mantis, but I could be wrong. This is the clean version where he has already cleaned himself in the river. One of the questionable characters from Lamento. Devil of Joy from Lamento soaked in blood. The idea was that since he killed or hurt quite a bit, I wanted to draw him in a literal blood bath. I loved how creative I was back then and I wasn't afraid to explore. I remember painting this in SAI, man I miss those days. Anyway, again character is black, and neon green, with a muddy green background, but this time with a blood bath, and I think I like this version more.

A work in progress sketch in Krita of a Sailor Moon Portrait I'm working on. I never post WIPs here anymore, so wanted to try my hand at it again. The layout is very comfortable to draw in, although the colors are a bit intense so I might change them. I changed it using a theme plugin. Also, I figured out how to use the Krita recorder. Pretty cool stuff. I'll save it in chunks though so It won't crash, also it's easier on the eyes too, win-win lol.

Good news! I backed up all my artwork, and it went smoothly. Although, I had almost 200GB of artwork I did in the last ten or so years and that's quite a lot.

I have a TB of space for backing up mostly my artwork, and I do have a 4TB that's almost full at this point that has games on it mostly...
A screenshot of how much space my art is taking which is quite a bit. I got a ton of files to go through, but at least I backed it up all. I will be backing stuff up often, just never know. The distro I'm using now is Garuda Mokka. I was using Garuda dragonized, but that didn't work out. This one is more light weight. My PC is getting quite old so I wanted something lighter, and it loads faster as well so that's a plus. Screenshot of my new desktop. It's blank so far since I recently installed Garuda Mokka. The photo in the background is of Casca and Guts. They're my OTP. <3

I felt like baking tonight, so I made some corn bread for family and me. There's a bit of coconut oil and honey in it. I'm excited to try it once it cools off!🤗🧡
Photo of corn bread I made. I'm letting it cool off now. I used parchment paper so it wouldn't stick to the glass pan. Works well! There's also an oven mit and a kitchen frog container with tooth picks in the background. I love cooking and baking. It means a lot to me. I love it almost as much as drawing and painting. Close up of the corn bread. It's so yellow. I took this photo when my corn bread was baking in the oven. I'm glad my oven is working, for a while it was broken. It got fixed recently and works pretty well!

I figured out how to change my permissions for the plugins folder since it was deleting my icons, but I'm glad I was able to fix this mess. It's working great now.

I just remembered I fixed this for Linux, because I noticed I wasn't having this issue on Windows 11, so there's that! 😄👌
Screenshot of my custom cursor brush folder. I love this plugin so much, and I'm glad I finally got it working properly. The permissions weren't set up properly by default.

I love the new layout. Wayland is looking pretty good so far. I've been using it for almost a year. I'll continue using Garuda Linux for now. I thought about switching to Debian or something, but I really love Arch or Arch-based distros.💗
Plasma 6.4. Looking flashy. A friend told me that this was updated, so I checked it out, and man. I'll never stop gushing about Linux.

Guts from Berserk in my own style. He is so hard to draw, but worth it. I feel like I'm getting used to drawing him. I actually enjoy painting him now. Anyway, I wanted to match up with that latest Casca post, since again, it's for practice. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out; it's lighter, but looks nice. I love the purple, blue, yellow, and glowing effects.
