Well, over at Meta’s shitshow (Threads), they seem to have added a chronological feed. Still not regularly using it though, until there’s a web app version.
Threads home tab with a for you and a chronological feed. Tap the @ button twice to enable it.

Been looking at Skydeck (skydeck.social), looks pretty alright.
6 blue buttons for adding a feed; timeline, popular, custom feed, notifications, author and search. Feed can be added using blue button in centre/center of the page or through the plus icon. Posting can be done with the use of the pen, 3 dots would be feedback and to logout. Search feed customisation; you can input the feed name and search terms. 4 feeds I set up and named; Bell (notifications), timeline (home), skydeck (search term), and people (popular).
