So this all started with me hovering over my tiny 3DS screen to draw back in 2013.
I was so so proud of the original piece and used it for a few years as a benchmark, redrawing it to see how my style has changed.
The last time I redrew this was in 2016, so it was about time I gave it another go 🧡

One more nerdy piece for now!
But I work as an aquatic scientist, and one aspect of my job is doing aquatic macroinvertebrate (often bugs, snails, etc.) surveys! I’ve always had a soft spot for water pennies and made some pendants a little while ago.

And the piece I previewed yesterday is officially complete! It’s a commissioned piece featuring a blue heron, a green heron, and marshmallow (a flowering plant often found near water!)

I’m going to try so, so hard to post actively on here 💪
