So @namelessenemy.bsky.social started following my page recently, and I wanted to make a lil' gift art for her in response! Her sona Tammy has received a mysterious package from Azure, only for its contents to spring to life... with predictably fashionable results.~

Initially I wasn't sure whether to make Tammy's new dress a more 'housewife'-oriented one with a shorter skirt or a 'southern belle' look with the floor-length style, but she opted for that full-size gown and I'm not about to complain. Cow ladies in general just make me think of farms, country living & southern accents, so it was only natural to wanna put her in a monochrome white-black gown that also emphasizes the 'elegant cow girl' vibes.

This was originally made known to me by Dave Jones (eevblog on Twitter), but I'm reuploading the topic to BSKY to get it passed round.
Google's automatically opted Gmail users into 'Smart Features' that allow it to train AI models on your emails; to keep your data private, do these two toggles:
Toggle no. 1: accessible from Gmail's Advanced Settings; uncheck 'Smart Features' and move towards managing Google Workspace smart features. Toggle no. 2: under Google Workspace smart features, turn off both of these permissions. Then make sure you click 'save' to confirm your choices. While Google talks about not using people's data from workspace "without permission", it rings a little hollow when that permission is automatically granted by the company TO the company. Don't let Big Tech run roughshod over your right to privacy.

Finbar's a mixed Burst-Support party member whose speed makes him a tricky target, & he uses ninja-like skills of pollen clouds/leaf blades to debilitate enemies.

Sprites: Default, Hypnotized, Egg Corrupted
[Hypnotized] is a common status in Egg Assault & Returners RIOT; escalating in three tiers, victims first lose access to Skills, then may outright lose turns, and finally increase likelihood of themselves being captured by enemy units like Egg Drone Pods. [Egg Corrupted] is a common corruption in Egg Assault; victims have been converted to loyal servants of the Eggman Empire & now attack former allies in an effort to convert them as well.

The "Yuletide Lounge", a popular spot for drinks & entertainment in the film noir-styled territory of West Egg City in my 'Mobius: Returners' AU of Sonic Forces. Egg Boss Frostbite and his fiancee Dian Hong can be seen at the center table, on right. Connell McCrowley, AKA "Direwolf"; a registered B-lister hero in the Victory Vixen universe created by ChaosCroc. A recent OC of mine whom I'm very fond of. ChaosCroc's Manta Ray, with Cobraironwarrior's Omu, headed to some ritzy gala for other superheroes n' such. One of my favorite rendering jobs I've done this year for how it turned out. My sona Azure! Looking his most regal in a princely evening suit, inviting EMLC3690's Emily to a dance of diplomatic goodwill between her Emeralis Kingdom and my 'Aozora' setting.

Rekkako, an oni girl wearing the sukajan & casually-strewn uniform of a Japanese delinquent, scoffs at the dainty traditional appearance of the 'tsunokakushi headdress in her hands- but before she can stop it, the headdress's enchantment is shifting her outfit to something more soft and silken, arranging her hair into a proper shimada updo- making her look the part of an idealized bride & future wife. (Tried my best to research Japanese culture & shinto traditions for sealing evil spirits on this one!)

As a Burst-type party member, Luna boasts an arsenal of combat options w/ dual pistols & charged bracelets, but her low defenses may lead her to being an easy corruption target.

Sprites: Default, Masked, Yako-Puppet
Luna the Wolf: Default, Masked, Yako-Puppet. [Masked] debuff prevents a party member from attacking for 3 turns while they attempt to fight off the mask forming over their face; the character themselves may attempt to struggle to remove it but have better likelihood of success if another non-afflicted party member helps them. [Yako Puppet] is a corruption state that occurs if a Masked status isn't removed after 3 turns; the party member is branded with Yako's spiral flame and assume a more yokai-resembling appearance. In Luna's case, she takes the form of a Hari-Onago.

This may be the first time I've drawn the plate armor worn by Aozoran Royal Knights; I really SHOULD share more info 'bout that setting as part of the 'Azure' sona. But here, they're celebrating a successful pirate raid w/ the help of their Valorian neighbors~
Aozoran General on left, wearing the blue, silver & golds of the royal Griffander family. Aozora's manapunk-fantasy aesthetic combines with mid-20th century uniforms under the plate armor. Meanwhile, Valoria tends to take more from 'dieselpunk' aesthetics with heavy amounts of pouches and more modern gunpowder rifles, but similarly lacks much in the way of armor.

Rekkako the Oni's never been one to really believe in the shinto stories or traditions of her culture, mostly out of wanting to defy anyone else's influence on her- but the Tsunokakushi headdress she's encountered has other ideas.

Pyra generously encouraged me to take some more studies into shading with some refs on latex, so I decided to practice her methods with a little full-body suiting.

Never done a commission where one half was in flats and the other in renders, so this was kinda neat to work with. And something tells me this isn't the last time we'll see the 'Alchemaidens' aesthetic...

New poll up on the Patreon discord for November’s focus; we’re back to a themed sale this time in one of 3 different formats!

Patrons can pick between a D&D-style char. sheet for my Kingdom of Aozora, a return to Returners RIOT rpg sprites, or comic-book char. sheets for the Victory Vixen ‘verse.
Aozoran character sheet; themed around my sona Azure’s home kingdom. “Returners RIOT!!” is an RPG-style commission series involving various people’s OCs or canon characters in a variety of statuses or corruptions, like its source game Egg Assault. The graph says all. Another spoof of ChaosCroc’s work, these VV-verse character sheets ape from Marvel’s visual dictionaries to give the lowdown on an OC’s whole deal. The larger format of VV-verse character sheets, with room for 2 fullbody poses (civilian and hero/villain costume?) as well as expressions or other things.

Inspired (somewhat) by Wonder Woman, Millie is the lovely henchwoman of Mr. Minos! She may have lost some of her full power when the bull first turned her into this vintage form, but she's no less capable of surprising & restraining foes to make her boss's domestication job easier.

Ferrona the Husky is an OC created by one of my patrons; previously seen in the August monthly sketches, she used to be a more free-spirited member of the G.U.N. under Commander Tower before brainwashing by the Eggman Empire turned her into a more strict commander figure. She's (currently, in Returners time post-War) managed to overcome the Eggman loyalty hypnosis, but still keeps a fair bit of her strictness and domineering presence.
