very annoyed by the amount of collapse conversation utilizing generative AI .... something about it insults my soul. maybe it's a bias because i grew up in online artist communities, but idk! AI data centers are depleting our finite resources and are SO easy to avoid

collapseniks constantly saying "WE NEED TO INVEST IN CHANGE! NOW! QUICKLY!!" as they scream into the void...change is not going to happen. why can't we instead invest in the transition from modernity and capitalism and find ways to cope with our waste as we move into a post-predictable-climate era?
