I finished the audiobook of Royal Assassin by Robin Hobb. Currently, I'm listening to Assassin's Quest, also by Robin Hobb. From there, I'll move on to the Liveship Traders series. For physical and ebooks, I finished Assassination Classroom volume 11. I'm not sure which book I'll pick up next as I don't have a copy of volume 12 on hand. Yet. Ashrinn is from an old-fashioned family, as is evidenced by how her name is spelled. No one uses the double n to end names anymore. That went out of style a few hundred years ago. An adult dragon occasionally feels a tug on their kalar (their spirit or essence) that sends them out in search of the source of the tug. It’s this tug that is the initial formation of the bond between a dragon and their rider. Dragons most often Choose people in their area as their rider. Most riders are human, though green dragons most frequently Choose chume’taly as their riders given that they share the same territory. In some extreme cases, a dragon will travel outside of their province to find the source of the tug. In bonding, a dragon can partner with a male or a female, regardless of the dragon’s gender. I don't have a preference for what time of day I do my writing, but I need silence to do it. I can't always get the degree of silence I'd like, but the quieter the better. There are a few things I'm looking forward to this year. There are bands I like who are putting out new albums. One of my favourite authors is releasing a new book. There are other books coming out this year that I'm excited for, too, but that's the big one. I'm also excited to get to do more author signings and live events. The list of monthly prompts.

I was able to get 20K written for 'Path of the Master', which should be the final book in that series. I am going to revisit what I wrote and, with any luck, be able to get the first draft completed next year. When that series is finally done, I'll move on to either Children of the Tiger or the sequal to Whisper for Eternity (as yet untitled). The list of monthly prompts

An'katerr is part of the Aetherium, a larger shared universe. Most of my books take place there. There are a number of things that connect these worlds. Something I've never spoken about or shared before this are the aetherlings. They are not commonly seen by any save for those who are magically gifted.
