These two old work horses have finally been replaced. Almost 2 decades of supplying rock solid networking for the house. Let’s see if the new eero’s can live up to their predecessors reputation.

Changing all the damn Alexa devices and smart plugs has taken all day.

My son works at a charity shop now and again. He rescued this cuddly toy from going into the rag waste bin. I’m a bit concerned it might come alive and murder us all in our sleep…

Molly is very keen to keep us all pinned down since we came back from our holiday. Can’t even tempt her off my knee with treats… so must be serious

Today was a sky, fjord and mountains kind of day

My wife seems to have booked us a gingerbread cabin in the woods for our final few days in Norway. Though the view out front is pretty good 😊

2 hours ago it was wall to wall cloud cover. But a snowy Tromso in the sunshine is pretty spectacular

Oslo in the rain

Oslo is a lovely city. Though the floating sauna cabins that people rent out and then dive off into the fjord do seem a bit too adventurous for me. Mind you they do have this view.

Looking at the weather at your holiday destination for the days before you arrive and seeing this… might have to re-think the packing plan

There was nothing good on the tv so we did this instead this evening

I do love our Cercis tree. It’s a striking thing in full leaf but as it succumbs to autumn the way the colour change starts in its heart and works outwards is heart warming.

Trying to open it on an iPhone does this

I always visit the cathedral when I’m in a city I’ve never been to before. It does seem to be about 50:50 for the building to be covered in scaffolding. But Glasgow has some serious architecture. Huge thanks to @datascotland.org for the conference yesterday #datascotland2025

Sometimes you just know you chose the right session. Molly would definitely approve.

They do like painting their brutalist architecture in Glasgow

#datascotland2025 You know you’re at a quality conference when they serve good biscuits. Tea cakes for the win

Didn’t manage to catch the lunar eclipse but sunset was pretty impressive. That’s my hometown that is.

I have been immobilised while watching TV. If I disturb her I will be facing her wrath
