do you think there’s somebody out there hoping that the rapture happens before the water wars or do you think they can’t believe in two Ends of This World

also the point of the small talk is “to express how you like hanging out, even without meaning behind it”. neurotypical equivalent of purring ig

somehow even worse than I expected! all the way up until 2015, as per this article: www.cbc.ca/news/busines...

Hadn’t heard this story but it had me losing it. Not only does Y5 suck, but most sources also include legendary carcinogens like benzidine. Why does everybody use Dye That Kills You???
Kraft Dinner to stop using synthetic colours — but will it still be bright orange? | CBC News
Kraft says it will remove all artificial preservatives or synthetic colours in its iconic macaroni and cheese meal by the end of next year.

Dick Durbin can’t retire fast enough. He genuinely believes high schoolers are buying ketamine off Snapchat.

Talking to uninvolved ppl about IL politics is funny bc they always think Dick Durbin isn’t real bc his name sounds like a fake baseball player, a la the legend of old:

you don’t see it much on TV but the US bread lines are long CURRENTLY. like RIGHT NOW. I live in a big US college town and they go several blocks. it will only get crazier if they kill SNAP or Medicaid or etc

and somehow, the “opposition” party is trying to run guys who genuinely talk like this:

not to be rambling in ur replies again but it’s gonna be so wild in the US two weeks from now

major democrats are doing fuckall, but primary candidates are revving up food bank relief efforts

I loathe accelerationism but “force the Stove Touching Class to Touch It” really does work to change minds

im up way too late so sorry if this makes no sense or is worded poorly. the connection between hexagon water and this is that these people will deny basic science to feel like they’re winning, just like they’ll deny basic history and be nazis to feel superior. they hate the act of cooperation itself
October 22, 2025 at 7:46 AM
So I find it to be so much more than a “larger proportion of [nazi] Americans than you want”.

It’s that we created a system that MUST fuck people over, that ALWAYS abandons someone, and removed all alternatives for them except for hating humanity — and we acted like they weren’t going to hate us.

our society is practically molded in their image.

neo-nazism has been rising for a lot of reasons, but IMO the most important is that white high school grads who don’t get into college are lead to feeling that they have been betrayed by society itself, and lash out at truly every system on earth
October 22, 2025 at 7:46 AM
and to tie this thread to my alt-water one: the American education system teaches privileged, bored kids that participation in society is the overhyped choice. It is designed to do that. Anti-societal behavior is the only counterculture that a mediocre white highschooler can feel at home in because-

There’s a twisted genius in this one though. Every inch of it is ragebait for real chemists and scientists, so the scam’s victims will always see “haters” in the specialists and have their alt-medicine worldview confirmed.

“Question everything… except for me, Sales Rep for Questioneer Water”

I thought I was pretty up to date on “alternative water” science scams but this is a low I haven’t ever seen and could never fathom

“Water arranged in a hexagonal form” that isn’t how shapes work. Genuinely a 4 year old can figure that out when looking a bucket of balls. What are we doing anymore

The response my group of friends had was “there’s so many people doing this on purpose huh” and dragging them out to the polls was ROUGH

Seeing the stories of people going from No Kings rallies to DNC funding events has been harrowing. I don’t think they’ve learned. And thus we must teach them.

As somebody who did quantum chemistry stuff in college, this tech is gonna be so hard to implement in any actual consumer device.

I’d take it instead of AI any day of the week tho bc all it would end up with is tech guys buying the cybertruck equivalent of a calculator.

If you’re looking for education on it, the 3blue1brown video is very good! Even if you don’t have a lot of math background.

The tech isn’t useless but it IS exceptionally specific. You need to be able to evaluate if your result is “correct” or not instantly and repeatedly.
But what is quantum computing? (Grover's Algorithm)

I’ve always wondered if Rockefeller would have undergone the same psychosis, or if it’s just a modern day things

Paying for parks and concert halls doesn’t make everyone like you, but it does give you insulation from haters & the power to silence them from your ears. There is no quiet for Musk.
