Like I know you're joking but also I might just take a bike with a 4x8 plywood sail into a crosswind over driving.

If I lay it flat-ish even better.

Well progress, let see you keep it up instead of backsliding to being a Quisling again.

Haven't lived there but train station to airport was doable as someone who is probably a bit too cavalier about riding in traffic and pretty much blindly trusted Google maps. I don't have enough faith in the infrastructure (social or physical) to recommend it for getting around town.

As someone with a short/mid tail, a couple other things. I think people are harder when they can't see ahead and a front loader is easier to balance

I think the big pro of Longtails is their compactness. I wouldn't dream of storing a front loader the way I do mine- even as a fit-ish young guy.

Currently working on electrifying it- yeah it will probably speed me up but my goal is to up my endurance and average speed... not top, and even that only the morning. So the honest answer will probably be that it slows me down depending on when they ask.

I need to start taking pictures of my heavier loaded trips,

On the industrial side I've done work tool boxes, polycarbonate sheeting and the lik with little trouble.

On the personal side, my cargo bike can do 2 big totes full of anything easy enough. Cases of water still drag on hills
