However, on the other end, got to schedule housekeeping better. Things are messy. Having a clean space is important too. We'll see how that goes during the last part of this year LOL.

I'm expanding what I do for rest. Art and watching shows have been my mains. I'd like to start doing puzzles too. Once I get scheduled, I'd like to return to video games (I've been avoiding them).

Mental tasks are my go to. My brain enjoys stimulation, but I also have my slow and passive tasks.

Commit one day, or even part of a day, to rest. I RARELY can handle a full day of rest without getting antsy, so I'll choose a morning, afternoon, or evening where I slow down with the intention of letting go and unplugging.

I HAVE to take the time to slow down.

As a practitioner, your magick process is going to take cues from your conscious and subconscious mind. If you aren't taking the time to give yourself what you need and to balance out your psyche, your casting might be neglectful of you and your value too.

There are lots of things that constitute rest. You essentially want to switch out of work mode, let whatever you do for rest fill your mind.

It can be art, a puzzle, a show, or getting out of the house.

It's important to keep in mind that you can't FORCE yourself to rest. If you have the bug to get something done, do it, but also set a boundary for transition INTO rest.

A healing journey is also extremely important, but THAT can hit like a ton of bricks. While I advise it for everyone, TRIPLY SO for practitioners, it is not easy. Treat yourself tenderly.

It's simple, so simple your continual avoidance is shamefully unnecessary.

Sit with some sort of stimuli (music, a candle, an image). Calm your mind and focus upon your stimuli. You can shut everything out, you can keep your thoughts on positive affirmations.

And it only needs 5 minutes.

Meditation is a mood, but there is a learning process. Accept it. Prioritize learning it. You will not regret it, and you will ALWAYS find a million reasons to not do it.

YOU WILL NEVER DO IT IF YOU DON'T SIT YOUR TUSH DOWN RIGHT NOW AND START.
