I'm just sitting here, disgusted. I left the US as a home almost 8 years ago, but I never left my love for the place and people. I can't do anything more than be shocked and horrified by what is happening, but I take refuge in the hope that Americans are still mostly good.

I've just learned of the atrocity that Americans call "sauna". It's dry, no throwing löyly. As a Finn, that's not a sauna, that's a sparkling thermostat.

My mom is dying and I have to live with the fact that I probably will have to say goodbye to my parents from across the Atlantic Ocean. My mother is in the hospital with heart failure, and my father won't survive long without her. 😭 I don't know what to do.

When you make wealth a virtue, it's easier to demonise the poor and dismiss them as unworthy of attention. This is how they divide and distract us. Meanwhile, they destroy the environment, steal our information, and blame us for being stupid enough to believe them. Fight back!
