Late reply since you posted this when I was on my way to work and I just now got back home, here's the first cat I saw when i entered the house, fully enjoying the couch blanket that is there for the humans.

I think I'll have to unravel the last 5 hours of work or so and add a different skein of this yarn, because I think the problem is with the specific skein I added when my first one ran out (even though it's the same yarn and dye lot)
