I had a weird UC watch order (Gquux, Origin, THEN 0079, Zeta, ZZ and CCA. But it took me until about halfway through 0079 for the Char Feels to hit me upside the head with a frying pan. I had to get to know him first. It's like...blorbo demisexuality?

But I wonder if this is a function of me not being someone who is attracted to cis men IRL, and Jamil being too masc? Perhaps I only like animated twinks? 😂 IDK. I'm excited to keep watching, though, and I do enjoy the show!

Because seriously, that shit is like catnip to me. If it was Char in the same situation, I'd be rolling around on the floor and purring. But this dude is just not... clicking for me in quite that way. I am still open to that changing.

I've already been through the episode where Jamil gets whumped and the one where he's addressing his crew shirtless from bed covered in bandages... I've joked in the past that everyone should get at least one scene like this with their blorbo and that Sunrise owes me compensation.

I'm slightly worried that I'm going to disappoint people with this next bit though. I definitely don't dislike Jamil as a character, but as of yet, I do not have The Char Feelings for him. These seem to be a random fleeting phenomenon that I can't cultivate of my own will, haha.
