Sitting in the sunshine enjoying the bees get their dinner. It's the little things in life that bring things into perspective 🦋

Part of my landscaping project in Phoenix; it was a joy to do. Most roses were David Austin varieties, or Floribundas because they tolerate the heat. We had flood irrigation as well (pool party for the dog pack 🤣)

That's what I did today as well. Cleared the air of Trumpland.

Played ball with my goofy German Shepherd, pruned my plants, saved them some summer food, then enjoyed looking at the mountains.

So pretty 😍. How have you been? I've been out clipping my roses bushes after their Spring flush of flowers, and they're now rebooting, which makes me so happy 😊. What is the climate like where you are? We have high heat and low humidity here...
Have a wonderful day

I forgot to post my pictures from yesterday's protest. I was so happy to be there!

Summer garden beauties...

Sharing the bounty of my garden. It is my "zen" work 😌...unless I fall in 🤪

I just planted Desdemona, and she's doing fantastic! I fell in love with those creamy white flowers, so I put it close to our Peaches N Cream Honeysuckle. I thought they'd compliment each other well.

The garden I have now is less than 3 yrs old, so it's off to a good start 🦋

These are; Hybrid Tea Pope John Paul II, then Floribunda Angel Face, and David Austin E.R. Munstead Wood.
All of these have exquisite scent! John Paul is probably the most beautiful white roses I've ever seen/grown. Angel Face reminds me of my daughters 💕, and Munstead W. is glorious in every way!

This is Cupcake Marie, who was MamaDog to our GSD,Jake G Shepherd 😂😂😂 All of our dogs came to us out of desperate need and we open our doors to anyone; we've been truly blessed 🦋

The Mingus Mountains grace the southwest of our house, and Jerome's lights twinkle in the night.
My garden lines around the house except for the eastern side where our neighbor's house is.

Enjoy 😉

David Austin English Roses are, to me, the most beautiful of all Roses, and the most hearty because he developed them using Old Garden Roses, Species Roses, and others to obtain the characteristics of form, scent and heartiness. Thanks for posting 📫 ☺️
Queen of Sweden is one of my favorites:

I am delighting in my garden today and taking in the scent of my roses that are coming into bloom. Left is Munstead Wood, then Lady Shalott, and then Queen of Sweden. These are all David Austin roses, which do really well here in AZ. I like them because they're really tough plants. 🦋

We live about 20 minutes outside of Sedona,AZ, where one yard faces the red rocks of Sedona, and the other faces the mountains where Jerome is perched. It's beautiful, though there are times I miss Phoenix... (primarily due to the extended growing season lol)

There are a few things in life that really make me happy: a great cup of coffee, a beautiful view, growing roses, riding my Ninja, and a fantastic CAR!

As I was filling up one day, I happened upon THIS little beauty 🥰 Only 100K base price! 😂😂😂😂😂

My brain is dreaming of Spring, which looks like these pics.... all the while the mountains are covered with snow❄️

Uhggg...I'm waiting for my shipment of David Austin English Roses 😂😂😂😂😂 Surely Spring will come soon, right?? (as she swipes the powdery fluff off her hair)!

We had a lovey Pitty girl named Cupcake Marie; she was the delight of our lives and was Mama dog to our other rescue GSD puppy Jake G Shepherd ❤️

All to pay for 1% of the upper class tax break this POS promised them.

I'm trying so hard to keep calm, keep from having another stroke, keep my eyes facing up to our Creator and Jeshua...when all around is on fire.

Just give me a rose, it'll be all I need. Those treasures kept me alive.

We lived in Phoenix (32nd st/ E Camelback) for many years, we loved it there. I had a HUGE garden; it was my Zen... but we came to Clarkdale to be close to my elderly parents (91, 92).

Here is a picture I took this evening from our back patio toward Sedona; those are the famous red rocks of Sedona 😊

Thank you so much, I'll do your suggestions.

I love gardening, and Spring is just coming to light here in mid-northern AZ (near Sedona). I commune with my flowers, and stars at night 🌙 ✨️

Thank you for your response 🙏

Here is Jake G Shepherd, rescued at 12wks from a madman, now MY big baby...and I mean baby lol.

Here is my first Greyhound, Sir Holden of Glendale (yes, in my world, everyone has to have a great name 😂) I'd always wanted to get into Greyhound rescue since living in FL and finally had my chance when I moved back to AZ. He passed in my arms 😢
