unfortunately, those cutscenes just kinda killed my vibe with the game, I did like one or two of them but the rest felt unnecessary, boring or plot-ruining.
I'm looking forward to your thoughts on Yakuza 7 in particular because that's my absolute favorite game of all time, it's an incredible JRPG!

quality and care and to see how much the stories and gameplay improve. The judgment games are also fantastic, sort of Ace Attorney meets Yakuza and though they're set in "the yakuza universe" they still stand alone as fantastic games with their own identity. I didn't really care for Y0 Directors

Glad you're loving them, I saw your most recent game was yakuza 6 so you're onto what I consider to be the heavy heavy hitters, yakuza 7, gaiden and infinite wealth are like probably my top 3 games as a follower of the series since 2019, it felt surreal seeing my favorite games being made with such

but in about 2018 I slowly got back into Nintendo, it took Animal Crossing in 2020 for me to really get into Nintendo and now I've been running through the backlog of stuff I've missed over the years haha

That's really cool! How old are you if you don't mind my asking? I'm 20 and I got into Nintendo games a bit (MK Wii and such) when I was younger but in my country Playstation 2/3 were dominant because you could easily pirate PS2 games and get them dirt cheap and from that we built loyalty to PS lol
