The thing I like about the format is that it guarantees every playoff team a home game while still giving a significant advantage to the higher seed. The PKs are the problem.

Allowing ties would be a little weird for the playoffs, but would probably be better in a 3-game series. I just hate aggregate goal series.

I still like it better than aggregate goals. This game would have been worse if the Fire had been incentivized to keep defending and not open up once they went down.

I grew up in the western Chicago suburbs (Wheaton), and I do not say it the way Patrick does. Maybe a few people pronounced it his way, but most didn't.

My first Ironclad win just had ridiculous cheap card draw. It doesn't matter how big your deck is if you can just keep cycling through all of your cards every few turns. By the end, I was just never having trouble getting my big damage and block cards back into my hand.

Then I had enough darkness and lightning orbs to get in enough damage, but by the end, I just wasn't taking damage very often because of all of the defense from frost.

My first Defect win ended up being built around having so many frost orbs that I could absorb any and all damage the heart could throw at me. I got lots of extra orbs and focus (to build up the effects of each orb).

My first Silent deck to beat the heart basically filled my hand with shivs all the time and then had several copies of the card that does damage based on the number of times you've attacked that turn. Pretty much all other cards focused on block and card draw.

I have around 100 hours in the game (all this year) and have beaten the 3 starting characters. Every time seems to be a result of building a deck with good synergies and plenty of block and card draw. I hit as many elites and chests as possible and don't worry about picking up curses here and there.

It was partially due to the guest stars, but also that this was easily the least self-serious season. The show finally seemed somewhat aware of how silly the whole concept is and just had fun with it.

Just finished the season, and I can't believe how much I enjoyed it. I hated the way the original series was going towards the end (I never watched its final season as a result) and I found New Blood mostly forgettable, but this season was ridiculously entertaining.

This season the Galaxy is having is just mystifying to me. I know they've had injuries, but that alone can't be responsible.

VAR in general seems very reluctant to overturn PK calls. That said, I think that one should have been overturned. (Chicago Fire fan here.)

This is a game that every few months I randomly get back into and somehow play 30 hours of in a week. Still haven't reached the end.

Really hate Apple TV constantly showing win probabilities that change drastically with every goal. Such a meaningless waste of screen space.
