All this to say, I’m excited about S4 and to see where it goes and what happens. I’m excited to see how it evolves as a show and as a community. I’m happy to be here. No matter what happens, it will always be a part of me, interwoven in my soul. The Future of II is today!

When BFDIA premiered, I remember setting my projector up and getting my camcorder to make a “camrip” of it. Solely to add audience reaction sound effects… And now that is something that literally happens? To a larger scale than I could have imagined? Wow!

Is this thread even comprehensible? I don’t know, maybe it’s just me rambling or trying to convince people I matter or that I am in the OSC somewhere. I am here somewhere in the millions. (They’re literally on tour right now… like that’s CRAZY!)

Inanimate Insanity starting out so bad is why I love it so much. It’s why it inspires me so much. It’s why I am so proud to see how far it has come as a fan of the project and a friend to the artists that pour so much of their time into it. It shows me, yes, you can make what you wanna make.

Inanimate Insanity starting out so bad isn’t just an obstacle to get through for me. It isn’t an embarrassing secret I have to hide. It isn’t something I tell people that they need to skim through.

Back in 2019 I met Adam Katz when I went to New York. In my college animation course when needing to choose someone in animation to do a presentation about, of course I chose Adam. It wasn’t even a question. Getting to gush about II for a grade? Sign me up! I’m doing it here right now for free!

Little fact about me: I actually competed in Cary’s OSC camp BAGUETTE! The camp was put on indefinite hiatus after a little bit, but when we met up he legitimately remembered who I was. He even referred to us as having “grown up together” in the OSC and online. It really meant a lot to me.

That LA trip was legitimately one of my favorite trips ever. I was really nervous going and about how everyone would feel about me. Would I be too awkward and kill the vibe? Would they say I didn’t earn my place there? And all of those fears were simply, unfounded. Everyone was awesome.

Then season 2 came back, with banger after banger episodes and I was able to go to an Inanimate Insanity screening for the first time! And that was a magical experience.

season 3. It was releasing during a difficult time in my life and I projected a lot of that onto the show. But ultimately, season 3 is something I am able to watch and enjoy immensely. Bot is one of the best things to come from this series. I just couldn’t see it at the time.

I remember when season 3 was announced. I don’t want to exaggerate, but I feel like I was one of the most shocked people in the entire community. Years of being told S2 is the end, only for that to be a complete lie. Legitimately I didn’t know how to feel, but ultimately I ended up really enjoying-
