It's weird, wind waker is in this sort of casual / familiar spot where playing it again and again never gets old. Pure fun!

...using the radius, average gravity, etc. There is a lot of research done by one of my professors, Patrick Dufour, on the subject at the Physics department in Université de Montréal.

Planet Cores are hard to study since it's impossible to drill far into the Earth. For a long time, the only way we had to approximate the composition was with indirect methods, like calculating the density of the core by... 3/?

My thermodynamics professor wrote sin(7)=7 on the board last week, so you could do a lot worse. I still have nightmares.

I hate it when 'Andromeda Galaxy' can't stop stomping the floor above me. So annoying 😑

Yes! The biggest category of stars are the ones that become supernovas and later black holes or neutron stars. Smaller sizes don't explode since the pressure is low, so they become white dwarves, since even if they stopped fusing, it still takes many centuries to cool down.

Basically, stars are so big that the pressure inside is enough to cause hydrogen atoms to fuse together (nuclear fusion). When there is none left, only helium remains. Bigger stars can continue the reaction, but if the pressure isn't enough, they stop fusing, become unstable, and explode.

Yeah, lack of empathy & ignorance is the perfect combo for an annoying player, that's for sure.

Totally agree. But I guess I kind of get it. Players obviously prefer winning: If you've never Dm'ed, you don't know how important it is to get the sweet spot in difficulty, and you jump to the conclusion that the enjoyment comes from winning the fight.

This one star has a strong magnetic field, so the particles emitted from the explosion are expulsed in its pattern. Not every star death looks like this.

No I haven't heard of it, I'll definitely check it out!
