One very fortunate guy who is thankful for every bit of my life.
And I love it in Seattle. That made them quiet down! 😆

The Tigers own second base. They leave enough runners stranded on it. 🙄

I was a volunteer at the Anne Frank House 1992-1994. There were times that I got strong waves of "Someone's watching me"

Makes me wonder if there is a physical way that we just don't know about yet, for strong emotions to stick in an environment.

We live on the back side of the McDowells. 1 mile to Scottsdale as a crow flies, 9 miles to non-sprawl Scottsdale by road. Or a 30 minute hike up and over the mountain.

You wouldn't get any sleep with the two that live in our backyard year round. And when their owlets hatch, they really make themselves known!

Only the Hopi, Apache, Navajo tribes of the Southwest.

The Lakota see owls as protective spirits, while the Pueblo believe that owls are guardians of sacred knowledge, and some Greek they are or protectors from harmful spirits.

Read it again. Americans overseas in great food countries shop in American stores for American food. DUMB!
April 14, 2025 at 9:14 PM
As an American working abroad, I always sneered at Americans who shopped "American" stores. I don't understand why people don't jump into the culture they are moving to. And it goes the same way for those immigrating here to the USA. GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE PEOPLE!

I named him Hungry. 😆 We didn't feed him, but he would sometimes get under the picnic table after we kids left. Hot dog buns & other not good for swan food that tasted good to him.

A pair of Great Horned owls have been raising owlets in our back yard for seven years.

In the winter of '70 an Arctic Owl swooped down & picked up a barn cat from the farm next door skulking thru our yard under a mercury light

Owl took him up 30 feet but dropped it due to it thrashing. I saw the cat hit the two ft deep snow, I ran over & no cat! He was 25' up in the crotch of an oak😆

As a kid we had a swan adopt us on Elk Lake next to Grand Traverse Bay. He would hang out in our yard most of every day, for 7-8 years. Plenty of other swans, but he never went with them.

There's a way to find what lists you are in and then remove yourself. I'll have to dig around for the instructions.
