I understand now. If it’s something you’re feeling, maybe try ruling one out the next time it happens? Asexuality is primarily defined as a distaste for physical intimate actions with another person, and valuing the person’s heart over their physical appearance, if that helps a little bit.

Yeah, there can be a lot of elements that can cause or be additions to that sort of distaste. It’s not an unusual thing to have differing feelings about something, it’s more so a matter of the person themself. It’s sort of like correlation doesn’t equal causation? If that makes sense I hope

Depending on that person’s preference or where they lie on the asexual spectrum, seeing people judging others based solely off of looks could be off-putting to even repulsive. Some will care, some not so much, some a mix of both, some somewhere in between—it entirely depends on the asexual person.

Haha thank you! I’m actually very inexperienced with side profiles, that’s why I basically never do them 😭 But I’ll learn! I bet you’ll be able to as well!

Absolutely. When people are young and it’s all they’ve been taught, they are not to blame. Though if they carry that into adulthood and stay willfully hateful/ignorant, that’s when people speak against them.
