The issue with the sync on close is a nuisance, it's saving your setting/dash though it does take too long, but you can just force close and it'll sync next launch.

However only comparing Resonite to what other platforms "can" do will often be lack luster... Resonite allows you do to a lot of things you can't do elsewhere and that's it's biggest benefit.

There are also decent number of worlds but there always be less worlds than a larger platform but as more people come in the more worlds will be made.

There are public avatars, you can even click the new avatar button in the worlds tab to find all the avatar worlds.

You can also take any model and set it up for Resonite as long as it has a standard humanoid rig. (readyplayer.me avatars work with just using the avatar creator on them)

ColorSplat is a good way to handle this... it allows you to use color channels to combine and blend up to 4 materials together.

This can hide massive tiling and you can even use a rather small color mask for it.

There is also an advertising push being made.

The devs have been waiting for this update to do the push as performance was the major reason people didn't stick around. So it's not "performance = new users" but rather "ad push + performance = new users"

correction I missed a 0... yellow would be +0.05

The hue bar is an "offset" on a color wheel (so it loops). Assuming 0~1 where red is the start and end you are approximately shifting the colors by:

Red: +0
Yellow: +0.5
Orange: +0.15
Green: +0.30

and so on. so if you took something that was yellow and shifted it to orange it'd be close to green.

This hack goes for a "friend of friend" system more often than not... if the first account they managed to hack is LGBT it's likely most of the friends/follows of said account are also LGBT or allies.
