Reminds me of Charlie Brooker's Cybertwats cartoon.

Also applies to when Bub and/or Bob walk through a rainbow, instead of climbing up it.

My most memorable magazine issue ever: Zzap!64, September 1988.

Mainly because it reviewed my fave C64 game of all time, Last Ninja 2. Also, @geordiegamer.bsky.social 's PG Tips pic still amuses me today. What happened to Kati Hamza? I remember seing Maff Evans in, C&VG @jazrignall.bsky.social ?

Ollie has the right idea. I want to swap with him.

Ollie would challenge that assertion, but as ever, I suspect he can't be bothered.

I had this on VIC-20, from 1984. The Alien Demon game was a very basic but quite atmospheric (insofar as VIC games could be) Alien ripoff.

This was my first ever TV connectable machine, which I got in 1982 alongside a Commodote VIC-20. pic isn't mine, but it's apparently from 1977.

Last Ninja 2 on C64 (1988). I already loved arcade adventures, but the amazing chip tune music (Matt Gray) is what got my attention. I still play through the game to this day, and held the World Record speedrun a couple of years ago, albeit for only a couple of months.
