So not only does my recently acquired Eaton 3S UPS not provide backup power anymore despite its battery looking fine, it also decides to cut the power to its outlets at random times for no apparent reason, effectively turning itself into a fancy and overpriced russian roulette power strip. Amazing.

So I just updated my Bluesky handle to @az.foxd.me since I've had that domain registered for a while now but never actually did the switch here. It's a pretty neat feature, though I'm kinda wondering what happens to your old .bsky.app handle after you switch to a domain name.

The internet has been down for me for the past two days right when I need to work, I hate it.

Welp, the new SSD has been installed in the radio computer for a while now, just need to finally get to reinstalling everything, ugh. Might also try to reinstall AzuraCast on a new server.

Been trying to listen to the ISS repeater with my Wouxun KG-UV9K handled radio and a Diamond SRH770S antenna lately, but could only get very faint signals as it was passing over me. Only tried inside so far though, should try outside next time.

Turns out the Enterprise LTSC version of Windows 10 is an awesome way of using Windows without having to deal with the usual annoying bloatware and invasive telemetry. The out-of-the-box experience was incredible and I'm so thankful towards a friend of mine for enlightening me about it.

Could use the current radio downtime to move the listening infrastructure over to a better server, would make things easier for me to manage in the end. Not too excited about having to do the whole broadcasting computer's configuration again though.

Finally the radio can restart!

Welp, seems like the radio computer's SSD died, gonna have to get a new one and reinstall everything so no broadcast for a bit.

Glad to see people on Bluesky seem way more chill and down to earth than on Twitter/X. It's refreshing.
