This might be the most important book ever written. Nuke every MBA program in the world into orbit and replace it with this book.

For folks who work or have worked in a corporate environment, it will be triggering. You have been warned.

I’m an award winning cricketer.

The Ruby Central drama has me wanting to ...

Quote post a movie you like with a terrible Rotten Tomatoes score.

I’ve seen this movie well north of 20 times. I could probably recite half the dialogue from memory 🤣. Sometimes movies are better because they’re bad 😝

Hahaha I know right. Just to give you an idea of how village we’re talking, these are the non-striker’s end stumps.

Just about to keep wicket on this pitch. Wish me all kinds of luck!

Think I might just sit down and let the ball come to me 🤣

Today’s haul. 2 fairly opposite ends of a genre spectrum I reckon.

4 catches while keeping, including 2 down the legside standing right up to the stumps. I’m never ever topping this performance 😎🏏

Just casually being name checked in a concert film by my second favourite band (Solstice). Reality is surreal sometimes ….

Yes @watsoncomedian.bsky.social, I do already have one, just doing my part to get the book up into bestseller charts 🤣.

(Not really haha, The other one was a gift which has now been delivered to its intended recipient.)

Think I might’ve outdone myself to the point where I feel it necessary to share this on social media.

And then there was this to top it off. If the scorecard says it, it must be true right. I’m superhuman and I can teleport. 🤣

After starting the cricket season with 0, 0, 0, 22*, 0, 1. I was finally due one today. 70 off 55 😎🏏

Blackfield V by Blackfield [2017]

A collaboration between Steven Wilson and Israeli pop star Aviv Geffen. It's essentially a pop album, but with the most melancholic and depressing lyrics you've ever heard ... a perfect blend of the two musical personalities involved.

McStine Minneman III by McStine Minneman [2025]

What happens when you pair a virtuoso guitarist and multi-instrumentalist with a virtuoso drummer and multi-instrumentalist? This. This is what happens. A collaboration between Randy McStine and Marco Minneman.

Dreamers Don't Come Down by League of Lights [2021]

A collaboration between a couple: Farrah and Richard West, I discovered them when they supported another band I love called Big Big Train.

Stygian Wavz by Envy of None [2025]

2 days late with this one ... life happened. Anyway, another recent release that has me totally hooked. Alex Lifeson of Rush is involved in this project, but the driving force is Maiah Wynne.

It's some wonderfully quirky rock ... if you like Rush, give it a go!

First game of the season. Just doing my part for comedy cricket 🏏.

Still no idea what actually happened. My helmet went askew …. At some point I broke the stumps and the umpire gave it without an appeal.

Transmutation by Karmakanic [2025]

A recent release that I've been completely hooked to in the last couple of weeks. The solo project of bass player extraordinaire Jonas Reingold ... it's a fairly eclectic album; the track "End of the Road" has one of the coolest guitar riffs I've heard recently!

On a very vaguely related tangent since I can’t DM photos.

Disco Lasers by Ebony Buckle [2021]

Ebony would describe this album as "Kate Bush in space", but I'm not keen on comparing artists, so I reckon it's some excellent space and sci-fi themed pop music. I really wish this kind of stuff would get played on the radio.

Clann by Solstice [2025]

The first repeated artist on this list. This album's just out today, and what an absolute masterpiece.

I'd got early access to it 2 months ago, and not a day's gone by since that I haven't heard it. A contender for my album of the year for sure.

I thought that travelling to Montreal for a Marillion Weekend, but to see Lifesigns and Randy McStine was a silly thing to do, which is why I did it. 💯 worth it.

3,234 miles travelled for a gig. A personal record that’s unlikely to ever be broken 🙈.
